The Hip Carry with the Pouch remaining Folded
Age: Two years to 35 lbs.
Benefits: Comfortable for toddlers wanting to have a little more freedom outside the pouch.
Tips: Make sure that the carrier you are using holds your baby at the top of your hip facing you, or about in line with your belly button. With the pouch folded, lower your toddler down with their bottom resting on the bottom seam, the carrier should function like a seat. Keep in mind that you will need to use your arm to support your toddler in this position.
*Not recommended for wearing your baby on your back.

The child in the photo below is 2 years old.

*Always check that the fabric of the carrier is securely around both sides of your baby*
