The Hip Carry
Age: Six months to 35 lbs.
Benefits: The curve shaped pouch of the slings acts as a seat for your curious toddler. This carrying position is very comfortable for the wearer and fun for the child.
Tips: Open the carrier pouch and lower your child, facing you, bottom first, into the pouch on your hip. Keep your baby’s legs inside the carrier until about two years old or 25 lbs. Their legs will be positioned at an upward angle on either side of your hip. Arrange your baby’s legs so that one is across the front and the other around your back.

The child in photo below is two and a half years old.

*Always check that the fabric of the carrier is securely around both sides of your baby*
