The Back Carry
Age: Six months to 35 lbs.
Benefits: Secure position for toddlers to ride on parent’s back. This position also provides good weight distribution over the back, making it a comfortable carry for parents.
Variations: You can wear your baby or toddler around the middle of your back or closer to your side.
Tips: Put your baby in the sling as you would with the hip carrying position. Hold the baby’s weight with one arm while pulling the fabric around with the other hand. In this way, rotate the carrier from your hip to back.
